Picture of a serious car accident

This past Friday night, a 21-year old woman from Taunton, Massachusetts was killed in a devastating crash. Three other people were also injured in the accident. There were two cars driving on Route 140 near the ramp for Route 24 North. Out of nowhere and without warning, the cars collided. It happened at about 9:15 p.m.

A 22-year old Acushnet man was driving a 2013 Chrysler 200 with his passenger, Nicole Dondero. Dondero was a 21-year old woman from the same town. The car was trying to make a left-hand turn from Route 140 onto the exit ramp when a 2005 GMC Envoy collided with the Chrysler.

The Envoy was driven by a 33-year old Plymouth man who also had a 35-year old passenger in his vehicle. Both of these men were taken to Morton Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Chrysler was also taken to the hospital with very serious injuries.

No charges have been filed at this point. The investigation is still underway. The name of the other driver has not been released. Nicole Dondero was pronounced dead at the scene.

These accidents hurt because all someone was trying to do was make a simple turn. The next thing they know, someone slams into them and they die. A young woman who hasn’t even begun to live life is now gone because of this crash.
